Prayers requested for Retired Tennessee Constable Henry Price. Henry is currently been admitted to the VA hospital in Johnson City, Tn and is awaiting surgery due to some medical issues.

Henry Price is the longest-serving constable in Tennessee history, having retired in May 2025 after an unprecedented 54.5 years of service in Sullivan County's 6th District. First elected in 1970, he officially hung up his badge and sold his police vehicle May 2025. Henry is also the founder of the East Tennessee Constables Association.

New Tennessee laws effective January 1, 2026, heavily regulate the hemp industry (banning high-THCA products, raising age to 21, adding taxes/licensing) and update DUI laws (stricter penalties, saliva tests), while also introducing human trafficking training for tattoo artists, a domestic violence offender registry (with victim consent), new driver's license exam questions on bike signals, and modernizing state agency communication by phasing out fax machines.
